Institute of Experimental Cardiology is a leading
biomedical research institution of Russian Federation
engaged in the investigation of mechanisms underlying
cardio-vascular diseases and in the development of new
diagnostic and therapeutic methods. Joint effort of
highly qualified biochemists, molecular biologists and
geneticists, physiologists, pathologists, cytologists,
immunologists, gene engineers, enzymologists, chemists,
physicists and mathematicians working at the Institute
has gained new insights into cellular, molecular,
biochemical and physiological aspects of cardio-vascular
pathologies and led to creation of new diagnostic
instruments, therapeutic approaches and pharmacological
means of their control and correction.
